Service Peace Warriors is a non-profit organization helping any honorably discharged American soldier cope with service-related PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) symptoms, MST, and other disabilities. These men and women are the reason we can go to bed at night and sleep comfortably. As we know, freedom is not free. Often these veterans have suffered beyond our understanding and deserve our support. To date, we are proud that we have matched up 80 SPW dogs with Veterans.
We train certified Service Dogs in Washington State for service-related PTSD therapy, then give them to assist veterans, free of charge, for life. These companions allow veterans with PTSD, MST, and other disabilities to live everyday lives that would otherwise be impossible. Everything from medical expenses, training, outfitting, and feeding is provided by us, accessible to the veteran.
100% of your donations and any volunteer work goes to helping our American veterans with service-related
PTSD, MST, and other disabilities.
The dogs we raise can change a person's life for the better.
We are a registered 501(cx3) organization
First and only service dog in the history of the Boy Scouts of America to be awarded a professional commission.
We are pretty proud of the work these magnificent dogs do for our veterans and for the community.
We love to get out into our community and spread the word about our organization. It's worth it if we can help positively impact even one veteran's life
At Service Peace Warriors, our belief is family and community are the foundation to help better the lives of our veterans
We are proud to be able to get this up-to-date training to better support our Veterans. Focus areas offered at this year's conference were Dog Training, Veteran Training, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, First Aid and Administrative. Plus, many networking and development opportunities are available.
Sometimes, life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, like there’s no way things can get better. Support is available when things feel unbearable or you have thoughts of ending your life. The VA offers several programs and resources for veterans, their loved ones, and friends.
