Service Peace Warriors is a non-profit organization helping any honorably discharged American soldier in coping with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) symptoms as a result of their service. These men and women are the reason we can go to bed at night and sleep comfortably. As we know, freedom is not free. Often these veterans have suffered beyond our understanding and are deserving of our support.
We train certified Service Dogs in Washington State for PTSD therapy, then give them to assist veterans, free of charge, for life. These companions allow veterans with PTSD to live normal lives that would otherwise be impossible. Everything from medical expenses, training, outfitting and feeding is provided by us, free to the veteran.
Service Peace Warriors does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, religion (creed), gender, expression of gender, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, and/or sexual orientation in any of its operations. These include (but are not limited to): employee hiring and firing, volunteer selection, and service provision. Service Peace Warriors provides an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of staff, volunteers, veterans and anyone else involved.
